While I was on maternity leave with my youngest, I decided to return to full-time studies and I obtained my Bachelor of Commerce. With this newfound knowledge, I knew I wanted to become a Chartered Accountant and began the search for employment.
I applied to multiple firms and no one was willing to give me an opportunity. Employers questioned my commitment, my ability to work tax season hours, the stability of my childcare, and so on. I was deflated and began to question my career path to become a Chartered Accountant.
EBT took a chance on me. I began my career as a Student in July 2011. I became a full equity Principal in July 2021.
