Growing up on a farm in the MD of Acadia Valley Alberta, she always had aspirations of becoming an accountant. Donna attended the University of Lethbridge and received her Bachelor of Management with distinction in 2008. Upon completing university she moved to Medicine Hat to start articling at a firm in town. During 2010 she joined EBT and received her CA designation in 2012.
Over the past few years, she has become the head of assurance at EBT and worked to quickly expand her knowledge. With her small-town attitude, she believes in striving to beat her client’s expectations. She has vast experience in many sectors of industry but still holds farming close to her heart.
Donna married her husband, Cory, in 2008 and welcomed his son, Dylan, during the ceremony. She helped raise Dylan through his schooling and enjoyed going to his football games, even though they could be unbearably cold. Throughout her career, she has volunteered with many not-for-profit agencies and sat on many boards in Medicine Hat. During the summer, she lives to enjoy the weather at Lake Diefenbaker, Saskatchewan spending many hours on the boat fishing and kneeboarding.
